Local jewelry retailer retiring, closing doors after 26 years in Breckenridge

After 26 years in business on Main Street Breckenridge, the jewelry gallery team of Judith Pollock and Mark Beling are retiring and selling off all the remaining jewelry of J & M Designer Jewelry.

Beginning July 4th and running through Labor Day Weekend J & M Designer Jewelry will be offering discounts on most items in the Main Street Breckenridge store. Store fixtures will also be available for purchase.

“We have been a part of the community for so long, it’s been a difficult decision to close,” said Judith Pollock, owner. “We would like to thank all of the customers that we have gotten to know over the years.  We will miss our J&M friends.”

J&M Jewelry was established in 1976 with husband and wife team Judith & Mark designing, handcrafting & selling their own jewelry at fine art & craft festivals all over the U.S. In addition to participating in art festivals they also owned and operated their jewelry studio/gallery in the Florida Keys from 1980 to 1990.
In the summer of 1990 they relocated to Breckenridge, Colorado to raise their two sons, Beau & Drew, and to enjoy the lifestyle and beauty of the high country in Colorado.

They opened their jewelry gallery in Breckenridge in March of 1991 carrying their own jewelry designs as well as representing other fine jewelry artisans from throughout Colorado and the U.S.  Their gallery has evolved over the last 26 years to now representing over 50 artisans with many unique designs exclusive only to J&M.

Judith & Mark have been very involved in the community and the arts with Mark coordinating & producing the Breckenridge Art Festivals for 22 years.  Art has been their passion, not just a job.

J & M Designer Jewelry is located at 100 North Main Street, Suite 202 (upstairs – Towne Square Mall). They are open seven days a week from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Clearance prices are available on all regular stock items; that does not include the original Breckenridge Rings.
